Never expect quick results when you go in for muscle building workouts. It may work if you have a lean body, to begin with. But if you are a person who has a high ratio of fat to lean muscle, then you first need to go in for aerobic exercises that will burn fat, and then combine them with any desired muscle-building workout. Low-fat diets, lean proteins, and low carbohydrates can help you to reduce weight while building muscle.

Muscle building workouts will give you toned muscles, but also, will increase the ability of your body to burn fat. Perform muscle-building workouts regularly as part of your fitness program, and you will soon find that even hen you are not exercising, your muscles will continue burning fat.

The number of muscle tissues in a body will never change, and working out never increase them. Muscle building exercises change the appearance of the muscle tissue and can make the muscle fibers larger and more well defined.
